Terms of use

LiveForge is a platform of tools for people who stream live: unified chat, overlays, giveaways, alerts and a Pix donation page, among others.

These terms apply to everyone who uses the platform: people who create an account to use the tools on their own channel, and people who open a channel's donation page to send a message. By using any part of LiveForge, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.

If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the platform.

• Platform: the website, the dashboard, the donation pages, the overlays and the services of LiveForge.
• Creator: a person who has an account on the platform and uses the tools on their own channel, including to receive donations.
• Supporter: a person who sends a donation to a creator through the donation page.
• Donation: the amount a supporter pays to a creator through Pix, with or without a message.
• Message: what comes with the donation, such as name, text, recorded audio, music link and chosen voice.
• Alert: the display of the message on the creator's stream, with image, sound and voice.
• Balance: the amount of confirmed donations that belongs to the creator, after fees.

To create an account and receive donations, you must be at least 18 years old and able to take on the obligations in these terms.

To send a donation, you must be able to make the payment. People under 18 should only donate with permission from their legal guardian, who is responsible for the donation.

People whose account or access was blocked by us cannot use the platform, and neither can anyone trying to use it on behalf of someone else without permission.

You sign in to the dashboard with your account on a streaming platform, such as Twitch. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything that happens in the dashboard under your access.

You can invite other people to edit your channel. People you invite act on your behalf within what the invite allows, and you are responsible for what they do.

The information you register, such as your Pix key and document for withdrawals, must be true and in your name. False or third-party data is grounds for a block.

A donation is a voluntary gift from the supporter to the creator. It is not the purchase of a product, service, perk or outcome, and it does not oblige the creator to do anything.

• Payment is made through Pix, in a charge created by a partner payment provider.
• The message only enters the alert queue after the payment is confirmed. A charge that is not paid expires and creates no message.
• Each format has a minimum amount: message read by the standard voice, recorded audio and character voice. The creator may set higher minimums, and the amount is shown on the page before payment.
• The alert depends on the creator's stream and streaming software working. The platform does not guarantee that the message will be shown, read or heard.
• The creator may skip, stop, hide, pause or not show any message, at any time, without explanation.
• Check the name, the message and the amount before paying. Once confirmed, the payment cannot be changed.

Every confirmed donation is final. We do not refund, reverse or return donations, including when:

• the message was skipped, hidden, cut short or not shown;
• the voice did not read the message, the audio did not play or the stream was offline;
• the creator did not see it, did not reply or did not deliver something they promised outside the platform;
• the amount was typed wrong or the message turned out different from what was intended;
• the supporter or the creator was blocked after the donation.

The only exceptions are when a refund is required by law or by order of a competent authority, or when we identify a technical error of the platform or proven fraud. In those cases the review is ours, and the amount may be deducted from the creator's balance.

Asking the bank for the money back, through a dispute or the Pix Special Return Mechanism, outside those cases is misuse. It may lead to a block of the person who asked, and the returned amount is deducted from the balance of the creator who received it.

The platform charges a fee on each confirmed donation, as a percentage of the amount paid. The current fee is shown in the creator's dashboard and is locked at the moment each donation is confirmed.

The payment provider may also charge fees for the transaction. The creator's balance is the amount paid minus those fees.

We may change the fees for new donations, with prior notice in the dashboard. Donations already confirmed keep the fee from that time.

The balance belongs to the creator and can be withdrawn through Pix to a key registered under their name and document.

• There is a minimum amount per withdrawal and a daily limit, both shown in the dashboard.
• A withdrawal may take longer or be held for review when there are signs of fraud, a payment dispute, mismatched payout data or a request from an authority.
• A withdrawal sent to a wrong key entered by the creator is the creator's responsibility.
• The balance does not earn interest or adjustments, and the platform is not a bank.
• Taxes on what the creator receives are the creator's responsibility.

Whoever sends a message is responsible for it: the name, the text, the recorded audio, the link and what the voice will read. It is forbidden to send content that:

• offends, threatens, harasses or humiliates anyone, including the creator and the audience;
• promotes discrimination or hatred based on race, color, ethnicity, religion, origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other condition;
• contains explicit sexual content, or any sexual content involving minors;
• exposes other people's personal data, such as address, phone number, documents or private photos;
• encourages violence, self-harm, crime or illegal activity;
• impersonates another person, a brand or the platform itself;
• carries scams, spam, unauthorized advertising or dangerous links;
• infringes copyright, image or trademark rights;
• makes the creator break the rules of the platform where they stream.

Paying for a message does not grant the right to have it shown. Forbidden content may be removed, and whoever sent it may be blocked, without a refund.

Messages may be read by computer-generated voices provided by third-party services. Character voices are fictional and do not represent any real person.

It is forbidden to use these voices to imitate a real person, spread false information on someone's behalf or make it seem that someone said something they did not say.

Pronunciation, intonation and the reading of names, slang and symbols may turn out different from what was expected, and that is not grounds for a refund.

The creator moderates their own channel: they choose what shows up on the stream, may skip or hide messages, adjust minimum amounts and turn formats off.

The platform may also review, hide or remove messages, accounts and content that break these terms or the law, on its own initiative or after a report. We may use automated filters for this, and they sometimes make mistakes.

People who break these rules may be blocked, temporarily or permanently, at two levels:

• By the platform: we may suspend or ban accounts and prevent a person from donating on any LiveForge channel.
• By the creator: each creator may prevent a person from donating on their channel, for any reason they see fit, without explanation.

To apply a block and prevent it from being bypassed, we may use signals such as name, IP address, payment data, documents and other technical indicators.

In serious cases, such as fraud, threats or illegal content, the block may be immediate and without prior notice. Blocks do not grant a refund of donations already made. Creating new accounts or using other people's data to bypass a block is a new violation.

If you believe the platform blocked you by mistake, you can ask for a review through the contact listed at the end of these terms. Blocks applied by a creator on their channel are the creator's decision.

It is forbidden to use the platform to:

• pay with another person's account, money or data without permission;
• launder money, hide the origin of funds or move money from illegal activity;
• donate to yourself or arrange donations to fake support, avoid fees or transfer money unrelated to the stream;
• sell products, services, bets, raffles or paid giveaways disguised as donations;
• exploit bugs, automate requests, overload the platform or try to access parts of it without permission.

When there is suspicion, we may hold withdrawals, freeze the balance during the review, cancel transactions, return amounts to payers when appropriate and report to the authorities, as required by law.

Anyone who receives donations through the platform agrees to:

• follow the rules of the platform where they stream, including those about donations and paid content;
• not promise anything in exchange for donations that they will not deliver, such as prizes, perks or outcomes. Whatever the creator promises outside the platform is their own responsibility;
• not ask for donations for illegal or misleading purposes;
• handle supporter data seen in the dashboard with care, without exposing anyone;
• declare and pay taxes on what they receive.

The platform relies on services from other companies, such as the streaming platforms used for sign-in and chat, the payment provider, banks, voice services and hosting services.

LiveForge is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok or any of those companies. Each has its own terms, and a failure or change in those services may affect the platform in ways we cannot prevent.

We work to keep the platform running well, but it is provided as is. There may be instability, maintenance, delays in payment confirmation or alerts, and changes to the tools.

We may create, change or discontinue features at any time. When a change affects creators' balances, we give advance notice whenever possible.

To the extent permitted by law, LiveForge is not liable for:

• the content of messages, streams and channels, which belongs to whoever sends or produces it;
• promises and agreements made between creators and supporters;
• failures of internet connections, computers, streaming software or third-party services;
• lost profits or indirect damages caused by using the platform or by it being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms limits rights guaranteed by law that cannot be waived by contract.

The brand, name, look and code of LiveForge belong to the platform. Using the tools does not transfer any of those rights.

By sending a message, the supporter authorizes the name, text, audio and generated voice to be shown on the creator's stream and kept in the channel's history, including in recordings and clips of the stream that the creator publishes.

The creator can delete their own account at any time in the settings. Before that, withdraw the available balance: without an account there is no dashboard to request a withdrawal. If any balance is left, reach out through the contact below.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Financial and security records may be kept after closing for as long as the law requires, as explained in the Privacy policy.

We may update these terms to keep up with changes to the platform or the law. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page, and important changes are announced in the dashboard before they take effect.

Continuing to use the platform after a change means you agree to the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Where there is a consumer relationship, the courts of the consumer's place of residence have jurisdiction.
